Keeping fit and being on a diet

Well, it seems that middle age spread has set in.  Time to take drastic action.  Diets don't always work.  Especially if one is not exercising at the same time.  One cannot give up smoking either because one could pile on the pounds.  So yes, on many occasions I walk to the shops and back which takes me an hour and a half.  Hurrying in my steps and pushing a baby along.  at first it can be quite daunting.  Backache problems can start.  Or because one hasn't done much exercising one can feel pain in weird places.  And to top it all one can always opt out and take the bus back.  What bothers me is the weather.  Dog walkers go out in all weathers so why can't I?  That's besides the point.  It has been raining a lot recently and when clouds appear and it gets darker outside many mothers would just shrug their shoulders and say that there is always another day to go for a walk. I see a dietician and on four occasions I don't seem to lose weight but pile it on.  The reasons being lack of exercise because of the rainy days we have had recently and the no breakfast, lunch and dinner option.  Yes, some of us have no set routine.  We sometimes think oh well let's skip breakfast and just have a coffee.  Eat on many occasions through the day at no set times.  As a result we take in a lot of food.  Also chocolate, cakes and biscuits are a real problem one can't just stop eating them.  Because one likes chocolate right?  I really need to set myself a routine and eat breakfast lunch and dinner at the correct times.  Not good just to cram in food at no set times.  It can be daunting at first but once one has mastered it one can lose weight.  Of course there is always the gym, Karate or even boxing.  That is to say if you are up to it.  It takes energy, stamina and strength.  Don't hesitate to get your sports gear on now and go to exercise classes.  You will reap the rewards.  For example a slimmer you and stomach wouldn't go amiss.  So take it in your stride.  Take up hobbies that include exercise.  Don't become another couch potato.  Just get up and go!
